With more than 27 years of experience in education, Alia N. Thomas has served in leadership roles ranging from Special Educator to Assistant Principal across multiple Maryland public school systems. As Founder and CEO of AP Consultants, LLC, she is committed to helping school leaders strengthen instructional practices and lead with purpose, impact, and equity.

A TEDx contestant and presenter at Harvard University, Alia is recognized for inspiring educational leaders to move beyond traditional administrative roles and become transformational mentors, coaches, and advocates for academic excellence. Her work focuses on leadership development, school transformation, and empowering educators to expand their influence within their communities.

Alia is also a bestselling co-author, speaker, and creator of the leadership series “30 Days to Impact,” designed to equip aspiring and current school leaders with practical strategies for growth and effectiveness. Her leadership extends into community service through organizations focused on scholarship expansion, HBCU support, and educational opportunity. Currently pursuing her doctorate in Developmental Psychology at Capella University, Alia continues to champion research, staff development, and equity-driven educational transformation while mentoring the next generation of educational leaders.
